Partija evropske levice, poznatija kao Evropska levica je politička partija na Evropskom nivou i asocijacija stranaka demokratskog socijalizma i komunizma iz Evropske unije i drugih evropskih država. Formirana je u januaru 2004. godine pred izbore za Evropski parlament. Prvi kongres održan je 8. oktobra 2005. godine u Atini na kome je doneta Atinska deklaracija Evropske levice. Drugi kongres bio je u Pragu[1] od 23. do 25. novembra 2007. godine, dok će treći biti održan u prvoj nedelji decembra 2010. godine u Parizu[2].

Nekoliko partija članica i posmatrača Partije evropske levice članice su i mnogo radikalnije partije Evropske antikapitalističke levice.
