Pinenska sintaza (EC 4.2.3.14, beta-geraniolenska sintaza, (-)-(1S,5S)-pinen sintaza, geranildifosfat difosfat lijaza (formira pinen)) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom geranil-difosfat difosfat-lijaza (ciklizacija, formira pinen).[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) geranil difosfat alfa-pinen + difosfat
- (2) geranil difosfat beta-pinen + difosfat
Rekombinantni enzim iz Abies grandis deluje u prisustvu jona Mn2+ i K+.
