Unuče
U porodici unuče je „detetovo“ dete ako je muško onda je unuk a ako je žensko unuka. U većini društava, porodica je glavna institucija za socijalizaciju dece. Kao osnovnu jedinicu za podizanje dece, antropolozi generalno klasificira većinu porodičnih organizacija kao matrifokalne (majka i njena deca);[1] bračne (supruga, njen muž i deca, a takođe se nazvana elementarnom porodicom); avuncularne (na primer, deda, brat, njegova sestra i njena deca); ili proširene (roditelji i deca žive zajedno sa drugim članovima porodice jednog roditelja). Seksualni odnosi među članovima regulisani su pravilima koja se odnose na incest, kao što je tabu incesta.
Porodica (od lat. familia) je grupa ljudi koji su povezani po krvnom srodstvu (po priznatom rođenju) ili po afinitetu (brakom ili drugom srodstvom). Svrha porodice je da održava dobrobit svojih članova i društva. U idealnom slučaju, porodice nude predvidljivost, strukturu i sigurnost dok članovi sazrevaju i uče da učestvuju u zajednici.[2] Istorijski gledano, većina ljudskih društava koristi porodicu kao primarni lokus vezivanja, negovanja i socijalizacije.[3][4]

Stepeni srodstva[uredi | uredi izvor]
Rođak prvo reda je onaj koji deli 50% DNK putem direktno nasleđivanja, kao što je pun brat/sestra, roditelj ili potomstvo. Postoji još jedna mera stepena srodstva, koja se određuje brojanjem generacija do prvog zajedničkog pretka i nazad do ciljnog pojedinca, koja se koristi za razne genealoške i pravne svrhe.
