Fitoen sintaza (EC 2.5.1.32, prefitoen-difosfat sintaza, fitoen sintetaza, PSaze, geranilgeranil-difosfat geranilgeraniltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom geranilgeranil-difosfat:geranilgeranil-difosfat geranilgeraniltransferaza (formira 15-cis-fitoen).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 2 geranilgeranil difosfat 15-cis-fitoen + 2 difosfat (sveukupna reakcija)
- (1a) 2 geranilgeranil difosfat difosfat + prefitoen difosfat
- (1b) prefitoen difosfat 15-cis-fitoen + difosfat
Za dejstvo ovog enzima je neophodan jon Mn2+.
