500 најбољих албума свих времена (енгл. The 500 Greatest Albums of All Time) назив је топ-листе коју је сачинио музички часопис Ролинг стоун. Листа је првобитно представљена у специјалном издању овог часописа објављеном у новембру 2003. године. У састављању тог издања листе учествовала је 271 особа (музичари, продуценти и музички критичари), а свака од њих имала је право да гласа за 50 албума. На листи су заступљени различити музички жанрови (поп, рок, панк, блуз, џез, хип хоп).

Листа је од тада ревидирана у два наврата — 2012. и 2020. године.

Друга ревизија листе представљена је 22. септембра 2020. године. На њу су уврштена 154 албума која своје место нису нашла ни на једном од претходна два издања листе.[1]

У састављању листе овога пута је учествовало преко 300 личности из света музике. Међу њима су били извођачи, аутори песама, продуценти, новинари, рецензенти и други актери у музичкој индустрији. Свако од њих приложио је своју топ-листу 50 најбољих албума свих времена. Сваку позицију на приспелим листама часопис је вредновао у складу са унапред утврђеним системом бодовања (нпр. првопласирани албум је носио 300 поена, а педесети 44). Више од три хиљаде албума прошло је кроз достављене листе.[2]
