English: Truro Cathedral taken from Boscawen Park Built on the site of the old St. Marys Church, building work on the Cathedral began in 1880 and was consecrated in 1887. The central tower is approximately 78metres (250ft) high and the two western towers approximately 61metres (200ft) high. To the left, in the trees, can be seen the tower of Kenwyn Church.
