M8 i really don't have the slightest intent in accepting the bullying of some wanna bee junior league politicians and wanna bee wiki editors and woke admins. As u see from my count on my sr.wiki page, i'm here for like 10 years, and this is not my first fight of this kind. I've faced few of these b4, here on sr.wiki and on meta a few years ago. This 1 reminds me of the hr.wiki case 2 years back. A woke brigade intimidating and bullying every1 into submission who doesn't comply. U have the whole debate on the meta RfC, one the link in the prev. sentence. Read it through. So, im not new to this. As for the merit, i will, at the appropriate moment, request a RfC on meta concerning the en.wiki issue. All the woke brigade members blocking will be mentioned there. It is certainly going to expose the whole shitshow to the whole wiki movement. Just like the croatian case did. As for the current state of en.wiki, u should do as ure gut tells u. If u can accept this kinda thing, or go edit smth else u should do it, if not go to an other project (simple eng or so, dunno). - this stuff on en.wiki does very much get noticed, but what does lack is an organized opposition to it. If u read some en.wiki articles on topics related to Trump and the whole US politics of past few years, reading just the article introduction, u get an iffy feeling. Second thing is that en.wiki, unlike the croatian version, is much bigger and its content regarding topics which are not native to content on other language projects (like US politics) is quite often being translated from english onto these languages. In past times translated content has been mostly or some what accurate. This stuff now wildly defferes from reality. And it does get noticed. Among average readers. What does lack is an in depth RfC. Like that one on hr.wiki. That requires information gathering. Its not just Greenwald. U/we/i have to gather the whole pattern. So its somewhat investigative journalism. The impact i think from Meta will be more symbolical. Just look at the hr.wiki case. Its giving out resolutions and alarming other projects that things on that particular wikipedia are iffy. So its not an army command: find the purpetrators, ban them, revise the content. Its a slow machine of building external pressure. As for my block, ill decide what ill do. Im in no hurry.
