Limonen 1,2-monooksigenaza (EC 1.14.13.107, limonenska 1,2-monooksigenaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom limonen,NAD(P)H:kiseonik oksidoreduktaza.[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (1) (S)-limonen + NAD(P)H + H+ + O2 1,2-epoksiment-8-en + NAD(P)+ + H2O
- (2) (R)-limonen + NAD(P)H + H+ + O2 1,2-epoksiment-8-en + NAD(P)+ + H2O
Ovaj enzim je flavoprotein (FAD). Limonen je najšire zastupljeni terpen koji formira više od 300 biljki.
