RJ11 utikač

Telefonska utičnica i telefonski utikač su električni konektori za povezivanje telefonskog aparata ili drugog telekomunikacionog uređaja na telefonsko ožičenje unutar zgrade, uspostavljajući vezu s telefonskom mrežom. Utikač se ubacuje u odgovarajući priključak, koji je obično pričvršćen na zid ili podlogu. Standardi za telefonske utičnice i utikače variraju od zemlje do zemlje, mada je RJ11 modularni konektor postao daleko najčešći tip.

Standard za vezu, kao što je RJ11, ne određuje samo fizičke aspekte električnog konektora, već i definicije signala za svaki kontakt, kao i pinaut uređaja, tj. dodeljivanje ili funkciju svakog kontakta. ^[1] Modularni konektori su specificirani za registrovani priključak (RJ) serije konektora, kao i za Eternet i ostale konektore, kao što su modularni konektori 4P4C (4 pozicije, 4 kontakta), de fakto standard na kablovima za slušalice, ^[2] često nepravilno. ^[3] ^[4] nazivaju RJ konektori .
