English: Barmby on the Marsh, East Riding of Yorkshire, England, Tidal Barrage at the mouth of the River Derwent. The barrage is to stop polluted water from the River Ouse getting into the River Derwent. Water is pumped out of the River Derwent at Loftsome Bridge water treatment plant. The water is treated to remove impurities and is used to feed the surrounding district, and feed into the water grid system.
