Флаг города Можги представляет собой прямоугольное двухстороннее полотнище синего цвета, обрамленное с трёх сторон полосой жёлтого цвета, отношение ширины полосы к ширине флага — 1:50, у древка — полосой жёлтого цвета, отношение ширины полосы к ширине флага — 1:16. Отношение ширины флага к его длине — 1:2.

В центре флага изображён герб города Можги, обрамленный с трёх сторон лентой жёлтого цвета, в форме подковы. Отношение ширины ленты к ширине флага — 1:11. В нижней части ленты указаны цифры «1835», в боковых частях ленты симметрично изображены восьмиконечные солярные знаки.
