English: A tribute to the video game Limbo. The user description reads: "I've been trying to branch out a little into nontraditional photography in the last few weeks, and it's been fun. I chose to model this photo after a game I played a few months ago titled 'Limbo' (download.xbox.com/content/images/66acd000-77fe-1000-9115-...). The industrial theme fits with certain portions of the game, along with the overall gloomy feel that the factory gave me. No flash or tripod, taken from the passenger seat, somewhere between Walla Walla and Spokane. Editing was the fun bit. I started with some very heavy levels - the sky was already grey, and the smoke was a pure white, so I had a lot of flexibility in how dark I could make the buildings. After making the buildings a nice black, I used some cloning to stamp out random points of light on the buildings. Still using the clone tool, I used the feathered edges to make the diffused smudges visible around the top and side of the factory. After, I made another layer, and applied a vignette. I erased everything but the edges. Finally, I looked around Photoshop's filters for the first time. They had a grain filter that I thought would go nicely with the shot.
