Public domain According to the Romanian Law on Copyright and Neighboring Rights Law no. 8/1996 of March 14, 1996 with further amendments Chapter 3 Article 9 the following documents shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright:

Also, according to Chapter 10 Article 85 Paragraph 2,

  • The photographs of letters, deeds, documents of any kind, technical drawings and other similar papers shall not benefit from the legal protection accorded to copyright.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.

Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Sicheviţa, potrivit anexei nr. 1.16, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat.În partea superioară, în câmp roşu, se află o fortificaţie compusă dintr-un turn central, cu poartă şi acoperiş dublu, flancat în dreapta şi în stânga de un zid crenelat terminat cu câte un turn cu un acoperiş, de argint.În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o timonă de aur având în dreapta, respectiv în stânga, câte un peşte înotând, de argint.Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate:

Fortăreaţa simbolizează trăinicia şi încărcătura istorică a acestor locuri, în zona numită Căuniţa de Jos, satul Gornea.Timona simbolizează faptul că pe raza comunei se află două porturi industriale.Peştii simbolizează bogăţia piscicolă a zonei şi principala ocupaţie a locuitorilor.Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
