Prema predanju Rimljani baš i jesu imali kraljevi. Upravo zbog togo su voljeli svoju republiku, to jes uslijed lošeg iskustva.
Hello David, in Serbian: for Kings, Tsars... in pre-Ancient Ages correct is: Vladar(i) / Vladar(i) or Vladalac, Vladaoci / Vladalac, Vladaoci (old fashioned), in Ancient: Imperatori, carevi (imperator, car)... I'm in a difficult position because if you base your argument on the norms of the Serbian language then you are clearly the expert. However the kings of pre republic Rome were totally different from the later Emperors. Imperator originates in the republic and is a title given to a victorious general. Tsar (car) is just Ceasar in a different form. Further there is a sharp distinction between Kings such as Alexander who's right was accepted by law and/or custom and tyrants who had usurped power. I won't do any further editing on this but please check what the normal translation of the latin “Rex” is.
