Univerzitet Makgil (engl. McGill University, franc. Université McGill) - je jedan od najstarijih univerziteta u Kanadi i jedan od vodećih univerziteta u svetu. Osnovan 1821. godine a otvoren 1829. u Montrealu (Kvebek, Kanada). Univerzitet je dobio ime po osnivaču i donatoru Škotu Džejmsu Makgilu (engl. James McGill, 1744-1813), imućnom trgovcu koji je živeo u Montrealu početkom 19. veka.
Univerzitet McGill se smatra trećim najboljim kanadskim univerzitetom na rang listi glavnih univerziteta u 2020. godini. Prema << US News & World Report> >>, univerzitet je zauzeo treće mesto u Kanadi i 51. mesto na svetu.[1] Prema << the Times Higher Education >>, univerzitet je zauzeo treće mesto u Kanadi i 40. mesto u svetu.[2] Prema << the Academic Ranking of World Universities >>, univerzitet je zauzeo treće mesto u Kanadi i 78. mesto na svetu.[3]
