Amborella trichopoda | |
Familija Amborellaceae uključuje samo jedan rod i jednu vrstu biljaka – Amborella trichopoda, koja endemično raste na ostrvu Nova Kaledonija. Ova vrsta se smatra najprimitivnijom savremenom skrivenosemenicom[1][2][3].
Familija je u poslednjoj kladističkoj klasifikaciji Grupe za filogeniju skrivenosemenica (APG III, 2009) svrstana u zaseban red, Amborellales.
