Eksperimentalna muzika

Eksperimentalna muzika je opšta oznaka za svaku muziku koja pomera postojeće granice i žanrovske definicije. Eksperimentalna kompoziciona praksa je široko definisana istraživačkim senzibilitetom koji se radikalno suprotstavlja i dovodi u pitanje institucionalizovane kompozicione, izvođačke i estetske konvencije u muzici. Elementi eksperimentalne muzike obuhvataju neodređenu muziku, u kojoj kompozitor unosi elemente slučajnosti ili nepredvidivosti u pogledu kompozicije ili njenog izvođenja. Umetnici takođe mogu pristupiti hibridu različitih stilova ili uključiti neortodoksne i jedinstvene elemente.
