(S)-mandelat dehidrogenaza (EC 1.1.99.31, MDH) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (S)-mandelat:akceptor 2-oksidoreduktaza.[1][2][3] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (S)-mandelat + akceptor fenilglioksilat + redukovani akceptor
Ovaj enzim je član FMN zavisne familije oksidaza/dehidrogenaza alfa-hidroksi-kiselina. Svi enzimi ove familije oksidišu (S)-enantiomer alfa-hidroksi kiselina do alfa-okso kiselina. Izvor oksidansa (kiseonik, intramolekulski hem ili neki drugi akceptor) je zavistan od specifičnog enzima.
