Фетулах Гулен (тур. Fethullah Gülen; 27. април 1941) турски је проповједник,[3] бивши имам,[3][4] писац[5] и политичар.[6] Оснивач је покрета Гулен (познат као Хизмет, што на турском значи служба). Тренутно живи у самонаметнутом егзилу у Сједињеним Државама, настањен у Сејлорсбергу у Пенсилванији.[7][8][9]
Гулен подучава ханафијску верзију ислама, која је произашла из учења сунитског улеме Саида Нурсија. Фетулах је изјавио да вјерује у науку, међувјерски дијалог међу Народима Књиге и вишепартијску демократију.[10] Покренуо је такав дијалог са Ватиканом[11] и неким јеврејским организацијама.[12]
Активно је укључен у друштвену дебату о будућности турске државе и ислама у савременом свијету. Описан је у медијима на енглеском језику као имам „који промовише толерантни ислам који истиче алтруизам, напоран рад и образовање” и као „један од најзначајнијих муслиманских личности на свијету”.[13][10]
Гулен је био један од савезника турског предсједника Реџепа Тајипа Ердогана до 2013. године. Савез је уништен након корупционог скандала у Турској 2013.[14][15][16][17][18] Ердоган је оптужио Гулена да стоји иза истраге корупције.[19] Тренутно је на списку најтраженијих терориста у Турској и оптужен је за вођење онога што актуелни турски званичници називају Гуленова терористичка организација.[20][21] Турски кривични суд је издао налог за Гуленово хапштење.[22][23] Турска тражи Гуленово изручење од Сједињених Држава.[15][24][25] Међутим, до сада није било одлуке турског кривичног суда која терети Гулена или његове присталице за терористичке активности.[26][27][28]
