Farneziltranstransferaza (EC 2.5.1.29, geranilgeranil-difosfat sintaza, geranilgeranil pirofosfatna sintetaza, geranilgeranil-PP sintetaza, farneziltransferaza, geranilgeranil pirofosfatna sintaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom (2E,6E)-farnezil-difosfat:izopentenil-difosfat farneziltranstransferaza.[1] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- (2E,6E)-farnezil difosfat + izopentenil difosfat difosfat + geranilgeranil difosfat
Neke forme ovog enzima takođe koriste geranil difosfat i dimetilalil difosfat kao donore.
