Beta-apo-4'-karotenal oksigenaza (EC 1.2.1.82, beta-apo-4'-karotenalna dehidrogenaza, YLO-1, carD (gen)) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom 4'-apo-beta,psi-karotenal:NAD+ oksidoreduktaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 4'-apo-beta,psi-karoten-4'-al + NAD+ +H2O neurosporaksantin + NADH + 2 H+
Neurosporaksantin je odgovoran za narandžastu boju Neurospora.
