Ribonukleaza E (EC 3.1.26.12, endoribonukleaza E, RNaza E, Rne protein) je enzim.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- Endonukleolitičko razlaganje jednolančane RNK u A- i U-bogate regione
RNaza E je bakterijska ribonukleaza koja učestvuje u obradi ribozomalne RNK (9S do 5S rRNK), hemijskoj degradaciji ćelijske RNK, razlaganju specifičnih regulatornih, informacionih i strukturnih RNK molekula i kontroli plazmidne DNK replikacije.
