16S rRNK (guanin1207-N2)-metiltransferaza (EC 2.1.1.172, m2G1207 metiltransferaza) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom S-adenozil-L-metionin:16S rRNK (guanin1207-N2)-metiltransferaza.[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- S-adenozil-L-metionin + guanin1207 u 16S rRNK S-adenozil-L-homocistein + N2-metilguanin1207 u 16S rRNK
Ovaj enzim reaguje sa 30S podjedinicama rekonstituisanim iz 16S RNK transkripta i 30S proteinima.
