Neocephalopods su grupa glavonožaca u koje spadaju koleoidi i sve izumrle vrste koje su bliže povezane sa postojećim koloidima nego sa nautilusom. U kladističkom smislu, to je ukupna grupa Coleoidea. Nasuprot tome, palcefalopoda se definiše kao sestrinska grupa neocefalopoda.
