Henri Valentajn Miler (engl. Henry Valentine Miller; Njujork, 26. decembar 1891Pacifik Palisejds, 7. jun 1980) bio je američki književnik. Uz Hemingveja se smatra za jednog od najznačajnijih američkih pisaca dvadesetog veka.[1][2][3][4]

Rođen je u porodici nemačkog krojača.[5] Detinjstvo i ranu mladost proveo u Bruklinu. Shvativši da akademski život nije ono što ga privlači, radio je kao taksista i bibliotekar kako bi se prehranio.

Veliki ženskaroš i idealista, 1917. godine ženi se prvom od pet žena koliko je imao, Beatrisom Silvas Vikens. Nalazi posao u „Vestern Junion“ telegrafskoj službi, gde dolazi u dodir sa pisanjem. Milerov šef je jednog dana došao na ideju da bi neko trebalo da napiše knjigu o kuririma. Miler se prihvatio posla i tako je nastala njegova prva knjiga „Sklopljena krila“. Kurirska karijera trajala je četiri godine, kada je sa svojoj drugom ženom, Džun Edit Smit Mensfild, taksi vozačem, 1928. godine otišao na proputovanje kroz Evropu. Bračne razmirice postale su nepremostive, pa je Miler 1930. godine ostavio ženu i otišao u Pariz. Deceniju pre Drugog svetskog rata, proveo je, uglavnom boemski, u „gradu svetlosti“ gde je radio kao novinar i gde je napisao više od 36 knjiga i drugih dela. Ovde je objavio i svoje najpoznatije knjige. Prva - „Rakova obratnica“ - govori o njegovim iskustvima o doživljajima u Parizu, a objavljena je 1934. godine. Zatim: „Crno proleće“ (1936), „Povratnik jarca“ (1939), kao i trilogije „Ružičasto raspeće“ („Seksus“, „Pleksus“, „Neksus“). Takođe je objavio i putopise i drame.

Njegovi radovi ubrzo su postali bestseleri. Posle 1939. godine, napustio je Pariz i preselio se Grčku gde je boravio šest meseci. Vrativši se u Ameriku, počeo je da piše o svojim putovanjima. Napisao je čuveni putopis iz Grčke „Kolos iz Marusija“ (1941), „Mirni dani na Klišiju“ (1956), kao i nekoliko lirsko-autobiografskih zapisa: „Veliki jug i narandže Hijeronimusa Boša“ (1957), (1962), „Grčka“ sa crtežima Ane Pur (1964).[6] Takođe je pisao putopisne memoare, bavio se književnom kritikom i slikao akvarele.[7]
