Andre Leon Mari Nikolas Riju (André Léon Marie Nicolas Rieu; Mastriht, 1. oktobar 1949) holandski je violinista i dirigent najpoznatiji po stvaranju orkestra Johan Štraus.
Riju i njegov orkestar pretvorili su klasičnu i valcer muziku u svetsku koncertnu turneju.[1] Živi u svom rodnom Mastrihtu.[2] Prezime Riju je francuskog hugenotskog porekla, iako su Rijuovi roditelji bili rimokatolici.[3] Andre je treće je od šestoro dece.[2]
[4] Od 1974. do 1977. pohađao je Muzičku akademiju u Briselu.[5] Govori šest jezika: holandski, engleski, nemački, francuski, italijanski i španski.[6]
Riju je osnovao Johan Štraus orkestar 1987. godine i počeo sa 12 članova, održavajući svoj prvi koncert 1. januara 1988. godine.[7] Od 2020. godine nastupa sa između 50 i 60 muzičara. Riju svira Stradivarijusovu violinu iz 1667. godine.[3] Riju i njegov orkestar nastupali su širom Evrope, Severne i Južne Amerike, Japana i Australije.[8]
