Veljko Jeremić (Priboj, 1985) profesor je na Fakultetu organizacionih nauka i šahovski velemajstor.

Biografija[uredi | uredi izvor]

Veljko Jeremić je rođen 9. novembra 1985. godine u Priboju. Završio je Osmu beogradsku gimnaziju, a Fakultet organizacionih nauka, odsek Informacioni sistemi i tehnologije, upisao je 2004. godine. Diplomirao je u septembru 2008. godine, a potom i master studije na studijskom području Računarska statistika pod mentorstvom prof. dr Zorana Radojičića. Nakon toga, upisao je doktorske studije na Fakultetu organizacionih nauka, izborno područje Operaciona istraživanja. Doktorsku disertaciju pod nazivom „Statistički model efikasnosti zasnovan na Ivanovićevom odstojanju“ odbranio je 1. oktobra 2012. godine pod mentorstvom prof. dr Zorana Radojičića.[1]

Od marta 2009. godine radi na Fakultetu organizacionih nauka, gde je biran u zvanja saradnika u nastavi, asistenta i docenta,[2] a decembra 2017. godine dobio je zvanje vanrednog profesora na Katedri za operaciona istraživanja i statistiku. Angažovan je u nastavnom procesu na osnovnim, master, specijalističkim i doktorskim akademskim studijama na nizu predmeta Laboratorije za statistiku:

Pored osnovnih nastavnih aktivnosti, Veljko Jeremić je angažovan na studijskom programu master akademskih studija „Računarstvo u društvenim naukama” na master studijama na Univerzitetu u Beogradu, na predmetima Kvantitativno modeliranje u društvenim naukama i Organizacija istraživanja i statistika. Master studije su jedan od rezultata TEMPUS projekta INCOMING - Interdisciplinary Curricula in Computing to Meet Labor Market Needs, 530155-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-EE-TEMPUS-JPCR. Takođe, angažovan je na predmetu Metodologija istraživanja poslovanja i menadžmenta na studijskom programu master akademskih studija Menadžment poslovnih performansi na master studijama na Univerzitetu u Beogradu. Angažovan je na predmetu Primenjena statistika u menadžmentu i poslovanju (engl. Applied Statistics for Business and Management) na studijskom programu master akademskih studija „Međunarodno poslovanje i menadžment” (engl. International Business and Management), koji se izvodi na engleskom jeziku (dualna diploma Fakulteta organizacionih nauka Univerziteta u Beogradu i Midlseks Univerziteta u Londonu). U okviru ovog programa je dve godine zaredom bio proglašavan za najboljeg profesora.[3]

Kroz Erazmus programe mobilnosti bio je gostujući predavač na nekoliko evropskih univerziteta, uključujući: Univerzitet Kozminski u Varšavi (2017, 2018, 2019), Univerzitet u Vilnjusu (2017), Univerzitet Roma Tre u Rimu (2017), Univerzitet Federiko II u Napulju (2018), Univerzitet u Baden-Virtembergu (2019), i Katolički univerzitet u Lilu (2019).[1]

Održao je predavanje u Srpskoj akademiji nauka i umetnosti na temu: Unapređenje pozicije Univerziteta u Beogradu na svetskim rang listama: šanse i izazovi, u okviru okruglog stola na temu Rangiranje univerziteta, fakulteta i istraživača. Bio je predavač po pozivu na Annual meeting of Community of Practice on Composite Indicators and Scoreboards, European Commission Joint Research Center; i pozivni predavač na Fakultetu za organizaciju i informatiku Univerziteta u Zagrebu, na temu Ranking of universities and institutions within the university: issues and perspectives. Stručno se usavršavao na Univerzitetu u Amsterdamu kroz InGRID-2 Horizon 2020 projekat. Član je brojnih instituta i udruženja, među kojima su International Statistical Institute, International Association for Official Statistics i International Society for Informetrics & Scientometrics.

Njegov pedagoški rad je od strane studenata redovno vrednovan najvišim ocenama.[3] Mentor je više od 60 diplomskih i 30 master radova. Kao mentor/komentor izveo je dva doktoranta, trenutno vodi jednu doktorsku disertaciju. Član je komisije deset odbranjenih doktorskih disertacija. Aktivno je učestvovao u razvoju naučno-nastavnog podmlatka kroz članstva u komisijama za izbor u naučna i nastavna zvanja na Univerzitetu u Beogradu. Učesnik je brojnih projekata poput: Advanced Data Analytics in Business – ADA, ID: 598829-EPP-1-2018-1-RS-EPPKA2-CBHE- JP; EUROPEAID/133824/DH/SER/RS: IPA – Strengthening the Serbian Statistical System by Upgrading Methodologies and Standards and by the Appliance of Good Practice; INCOMING – Interdisciplinary Curricula in Computing to Meet Labor Market Needs, European Commission, 530155- TEMPUS-1-2012-1-EE-TEMPUS-JPCR.

Objavio je više od 40 radova u časopisima sa impakt faktorom. Citiran je više od 1.300 puta na Google Scholar-u.[4] Vodeći je urednik IGI Book Emerging Trends in the Development and Application of Composite Indicators, indeksirane u bazi SCOPUS. Od 2016. godine je urednik međunarodne sekcije časopisa Management: Journal of Sustainable Business and Management Solutions in Emerging Economies. Recenzirao je veći broj radova u časopisima sa SCIe i SSCI liste poput: JASIST, Scientometrics, Interactive Learning Environments, European Journal of Sport Science, Applied Statistics, Economic Research – Ekonomska istraživanja, Društvena istraživanja, Social Indicators Research, Information Development, Journal of the Operational Research Society, The Professional Geographer, Journal of Cleaner Production, Polish Journal of Environmental Studies, Eastern European Economics, The Social Science Journal, Revista Brasileira de Gestão de Negócios, Expert Systems with Applications, IEEE Access, Journal of Informetrics, International Journal of Medical Informatics, Journal of Population Ageing, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, International Journal of Educational Development, Heliyon.

Rangiran je u najboljih 3% svetskih recenzenata.[5] Recenzirao je radove za domaće konferencije SYMORG2016, SYMOPIS2017 i časopise YUJOR, INFOM i Marketing.

Šahovska karijera[uredi | uredi izvor]

Šah je naučio da igra sa četiri godine. Tokom osnovne i srednje škole učestvovao je na velikom broju domaćih i internacionalnih takmičenja, a internacionalni majstor postao je 2002. godine. Veljko Jeremić je 2004. godine osvojio prvo mesto na međunarodnom turniru u Korintu i time ostvario poslednji uslov za titulu velemajstora, te mu je sa nepunih 19 godina, 30. oktobra 2004. godine, zvanično uručena titula, čime je postao najmlađi šahovski velemajstor u Srbiji.[6][7] Titulu najmlađeg šahovskog velemajstora Srbije nosio je do 2016. godine, kada ga je na tom mestu zamenio Milan Zajić.

Bio je trener ženske reprezentacije Srbije na Olimpijskim igrama u Drezdenu 2008. godine. Reprezentacija je osvojila sedmo mesto u konkurenciji od 111 timova, ispavši u poslednjem kolu od Gruzije, koja je bila predvođena bivšom svetskom šampionkom Majom Čiburdanidze.[7]

Višestruki je kadetski (1995, 1997, 2000 i 2001. godine) i juniorski (2002. i 2003. godine) šampion Jugoslavije, kao i ekipni seniorski šampion Srbije (2007) i Srbije i Crne Gore (2005), ekipni seniorski vicešampion Srbije četiri godine u nizu (2008—2011. godine). Osvajač je bronzane medalje (kako u ekipnoj konkurenciji, tako i na svojoj tabli) na ekipnom prvenstvu BiH 2003. godine. Na ekipnom prvenstvu Evrope za juniore 2001. godine ostvario je najbolji rezultat na svojoj tabli (reprezentacija Srbije je osvojila bronzanu medalju). Učesnik je evropskih i svetskih kadetskih/juniorskih prvenstava na kojima je ostvario zapažene rezultate.
