Ђарамарана

Ђарамарана (jarāmaraṇa) је кованица састављена од две санскритске и пали речи: "старост" (jarā)[1] и "смрт" (maraṇa)[2], дословно старо-смрт.

У будизму, старо-смрт је појам повезан са болном неизбежношћу окончања свега рођеног.

The PED further contextualizes maraa with "death, as ending this (visible) existence, physical death...." That is, in Buddhism, maraa does not refer to death of the conscious process or the end of the associated suffering.
