Eva
Eva (hebr. חַוָּה, doslovno životvorna, koja daje život) je u avramskim religijama pramajka svih ljudi, prva žena, Adamova žena, nastala od njegovog rebra, majka Kainova, Aveljova i Sitova. Prema priči o poreklu[1] abrahamskih religija, ona je bila prva žena, ali neke debate unutar judaizma takođe su dale taj položaj Lilit. Eva je poznata i kao Adamova žena.
Biblijska priča o Adamu i Evi, o padu čovjeka i njihovom izgnanstvu iz raja dala je veliku literaturu apokrifnog karaktera.[2] Po Zoharu, Eva je bila druga Adamova žena, a prva je bila Lilit. U kabali se prikazuje usklađenost Eve sa sefirskom Binom.[3]
Zato što si poslušala zmiju, zato će od sada volja tvoja biti pod vlašću tvoga muža.
Prema drugom poglavlju Postanja, Evu je stvorio Bog (Jahve) tako što ju je uzeo sa rebra[4] Adamovog, da bude Adamova pratilja. Adam je zadužen da čuva i održava baštu pre njenog stvaranja; ona nije prisutna kada Bog zapoveda Adamu da ne jede zabranjeni plod – iako je jasno da je bila svesna zapovesti.[5] Ona odlučuje da pojede zabranjeno voće sa drveta poznanja dobra i zla nakon što čuje zmijin argument da je to neće ubiti, već joj doneti korist. Ona deli plod sa Adamom, i pre nego što su mogli da jedu sa Drveta života, proterani su iz Rajskog vrta. Hrišćanske crkve se razlikuju po tome kako vide Adamovu i Evinu neposlušnost Bogu (koja se često naziva padom čoveka), kao i posledice koje su ta dela imala na ostatak čovečanstva. Hrišćanska i jevrejska učenja ponekad drže Adama (prvog čoveka) i Evu na različitim nivoima odgovornosti za „pad“.
Uz Adama, katolička crkva po drevnoj tradiciji priznaje Evu za sveticu, a tradicionalni liturgijski praznik Svetih Adama i Eve slavi se 24. decembra[6][7] od srednjeg veka u mnogim evropskim narodima, uključujući Estoniju, Nemačku, Mađarsku, Litvaniju i skandinavske nacije.

Naziv Eva je u vezi sa nazivima žena i život, Živana, Živka, keva.[8] U Prvoj knjizi Mojsijevoj, 3. poglave, 20. stih, stoji: I Adam nadjenu ženi svojoj ime Eva, zato što je ona mati svima živima. Živo, je na latinskom vivo. U prevodu na engelski stoji: And Adam called the name of his wife Life, because she was the mother of all living. Life je život, i u tom prevodu ne stoji Eva nego život. Bliski su i engleski nazivi za ženu i život, wife-life, jer je žena ta koja daje život. Isto, i u grčkom prevodu, nije navedena Eva, nego život: Ζωή (zoi - život). [9] Na engleskom Eve se čita kao Iv. Đuro Daničić je to preveo sa Jeva. Na jevrejskom i keva (נְקֵבָה) se u Bibliji koristi da označi ženu (Knjiga Postanja 1,27: 5,2), a u srpskom je to žargonski naziv za majku. [10]

U Postanku 2:18–22, žena je stvorena da bude ezer ki-negdo, izraz koji je posebno teško prevesti, za muškarca. Ki-negdo znači „pored, suprotno, pandan njemu“, a ezer znači aktivna intervencija u ime druge osobe.[12] Žena se naziva išah, žena, uz objašnjenje da je to zato što je preuzeta od iša, što znači „muškarac”; te dve reči u zapravo nisu povezane. Kasnije, nakon što se priča o vrtu završi, dobiće ime, Ḥawwāh (Eva). To znači „živeti“ na hebrejskom, od korena koji može da znači i „zmija“.[13] Dugogodišnja egzegetska tradicija smatra da upotreba rebra sa muške strane naglašava da i muškarac i žena imaju jednako dostojanstvo, jer je žena stvorena od istog materijala kao i muškarac, oblikovana i oživljena istim procesima.[14] U stvari, reč koja se tradicionalno prevodi kao „rebro“, na engleskom takođe može značiti bočnu stranu, komoru ili gredu.[15] Rebro je igra reči na sumerskom, jer reč „ti“ znači „rebro“ i „život“.[16]
Bog je stvorio Evu od ’aḥat miṣṣal‘otaiv (אַחַת מִצַּלְעֹתָיו), što se tradicionalno prevodi kao „jedno od njegovih rebara“. Termin može značiti krivinu, hramanje, nevolju i stranu. Tradicionalno čitanje je nedavno dovedeno u pitanje od strane feminističkih teologa koji sugerišu da ga umesto toga treba prikazati kao „strana“, podržavajući ideju da je žena jednaka muškarcu, a ne njemu podređena.[17] Takvo čitanje deli elemente zajedničke sa Aristofanovom pričom o poreklu ljubavi i razdvajanju polova u Platonovom Simpozijumu.[18] Nedavna sugestija, zasnovana na zapažanjima da muškarci i žene imaju isti broj rebara, spekuliše da je kost bila bakulum, mala struktura pronađena u penisu mnogih sisara, ali ne i kod ljudi.[19]
Izgon iz Raja[uredi | uredi izvor]
Eva se nalazi u narativu o izbacivanju iz Raja u Postanku 3 koji je u tradiciji mudrosti okarakterisan kao parabola ili „priča o mudrosti“.[20] Ovaj narativni deo se pripisuje Jahvistu (J) dokumentarnom hipotezom zbog upotrebe YHWH.[21]
U narativu o izgonu iz Raja razmenjuje se dijalog između zmije sa nogama i žene (3:1–5).[22] Zmija je identifikovana u 2:19 kao životinja koju je Jahve napravio među zverima u polju.[23] Žena je voljna da razgovara sa zmijom i odgovori na cinizam stvorenja ponavljanjem Jahveove zabrane iz 2:17.[24] Zmija direktno osporava Jahveovu zapovest.[25] Adam i žena greše (3:6–8).[26] Jahve ispituje Adama, koji krivi ženu (3:9–13).[22] Jahve tada izaziva ženu da objasni, i ona krivi zmiju, koja je prokleta da puzi po stomaku, izgubivši tako svoje udove.[27]
Božanska izricanja tri presude se tada stavljaju na sve krivce (3:14–19).[22] Proročanstvo presude i priroda zločina prvo se postavlja na zmiju, zatim na ženu i na kraju na Adama. Nakon što je Jahve prokleo zmiju,[28] žena dobija kaznu koja utiče na dve glavne uloge: rađanje dece i njen podređeni odnos prema mužu.[29] Zatim sledi Adamova kazna.[30] Reakcija Adama, imenovanje Eve, i Jahve koji pravi kožnu odeću opisani su u sažetom narativu (3:20–21). Izveštaj o vrtu se završava razgovorom Elohima, određujući proterivanje para i izvršenje te odluke (3:22–24).[22]
Majka čovečanstva[uredi | uredi izvor]
Eva (i žene posle nje) osuđena je na život tuge i muke u porođaju, i da bude pod vlašću svog muža. Adam i Eva su imali dva sina, Kaina i Avelja (Kajin i Hekel), prvi je obrađivao zemlju, a drugi čuvao ovce. Nakon Abelove smrti, Eva je rodila trećeg sina, Seta (Šeta), od koga potiče Noje (a time i čitavo savremeno čovečanstvo). Prema Postanku, Set se rodio kada je Adam imao 130[31] godina[32] „sin sličan njemu i poput njegovog lika“.[32] Postanak 5:4 kaže da je Eva imala sinove i kćeri osim Kajina, Avelja i Seta.
