Sledi spisak opština u pokrajini Vojvodina Srbije, u kojima etnički Mađari čine većinu ili značajnu manjinu (tj. čine preko 5% ukupnog stanovništva), prema popisu iz 2011. godine, poređan prema procentu u lokalnom stanovništvu. Mađari čine 3,53% ukupnog stanovništva Srbije i 13% Vojvodine, gde ih većina živi. [1]

Mađari su u regionu prisutni od srednjeg veka i danas su najveća manjina u Vojvodini. Mađarski jezik je jedan od šest službenih jezika u regionu.

Novi Sad, iako ne dostiže granicu od 5%, takođe je naveden jer je među mestima koji ima najveći broj Mađara na jednom mestu u Vojvodini i regionalni je kulturno-prosvetni centar Mađara sa mađarskim jezikom Novosadsko pozorište i Univerzitet Novog Sada, koji pored ostalih manjinskih odeljenja ima i Odsek za mađarske studije.
