Palestinci, poznati i kao Palestinski Arapi, etno-nacionalna su grupa koju čini savremeni potomci naroda koji su vijekovima neprekidno živjeli u Palestini i koji su danas uglavnom kulturno i jezički Arapi; uključujući one etničke Jevreje i Samarićane koji odgovaraju ovoj definiciji.
Uprkos raznim ratovima i egzodusima (kao što je bio 1948), otprilike polovina svjetskog palestinskog stanovništva i dalje živi u istorijskoj Palestini, području koje obuhvata Zapadnu obalu, pojas Gaze i Izrael. Ima ih približno 4.400.000, a znatan broj ih živi i u dijaspori – u Jordanu, Kuvajtu, Siriji, Libanu, Iraku i Kataru. Govore sirijsko-palestinski dijalekt arapskog jezika, a po veri su pretežno muslimani i manjim delom pravoslavni hrišćani. Pored države Palestine, čiji je politički status sporan, arapski jezik kojim govore Palestinci je i jedan od službenih jezika u Izraelu, tako da su i u samom Izraelu Palestinci faktički priznati kao državni narod, iako veliki deo Palestinaca ne priznaje državu Izrael.
