Teorija grupa
Teorija grupa je grana matematike koja se bavi proučavanjem grupa. Grupe su skupovi sa operacijom. Operacija u grupi mora da zadovoljava zatvorenost, i da ima sledeća tri dodatna svojstva:
- Operacija mora da bude asocijativna.
- Mora postojati neutral.
- Svaki element mora imati odgovarajući inverzan element.
Teorija grupa se koristi širom matematike a ima i primene u fizici i hemiji. Grupe mogu biti konačne ili beskonačne. Klasifikacija konačnih prostih grupa, završena 1983, je jedno od većih matematičkih dostignuća 20. veka.
Rana istorija teorije grupa datira iz 19. veka. Jedno od najvažnijih matematičkih dostignuća 20. veka[1] bio je zajednički napor, koji je zauzeo više od 10.000 stranica časopisa i uglavnom objavljen između 1960. i 1980. godine, koji je kulminirao potpunom klasifikacijom konačnih jednostavnih grupa.
Glavne klase grupa[uredi | uredi izvor]
Opseg grupa koje se razmatraju postepeno se proširio od konačnih permutacionih grupa i posebnih primera matričnih grupa do apstraktnih grupa koje se mogu specificirati kroz prezentaciju pomoću generatora i relacija.[2][3]
Permutacione grupe[uredi | uredi izvor]
Prva klasa grupa koja je bila podvrgnuta sistematskoj studiji bile su permutacione grupe. Ako je dat bilo koji skup X i kolekcija G bijekcija X u sebe (poznata kao permutacije) koja je zatvorena pod kompozicijama i inverzima, G je grupa koja deluje na X. Ako se X sastoji od n elemenata, a G se sastoji od svih permutacija, G je simetrična grupa Sn; generalno, svaka permutaciona grupa G je podgrupa simetrične grupe X. Jedna rana konstrukcija po Kejlijevom predlogu je prikazala bilo koju grupu kao permutacionu grupu, delujući na sebe (X = G) pomoću leve regularne reprezentacije.
U mnogim slučajevima, struktura permutacione grupe se može proučavati korišćenjem osobina njenog delovanja na odgovarajući skup. Na primer, na ovaj način se dokazuje da je za n ≥ 5 alternativna grupa An jednostavna, tj. da ne prihvata nijednu odgovarajuću normalnu podgrupu. Ova činjenica igra ključnu ulogu u nemogućnosti rešavanja opšte algebarske jednačine stepena n ≥ 5 u radikalima.
Matrične grupe[uredi | uredi izvor]
Sledeća važna klasa grupa je data matričnim grupama, ili linearnim grupama. Ovde je G skup koji se sastoji od inverzibilnih matrica datog reda n nad poljem K koje je zatvoreno ispod proizvoda i inverzija. Takva grupa deluje na n-dimenzionalni vektorski prostor Kn linearnim transformacijama. Ova akcija čini matrične grupe konceptualno sličnim permutacionim grupama, a geometrija akcije se može korisno iskoristiti za uspostavljanje svojstava grupe G.
Transformacione grupe[uredi | uredi izvor]
Permutacione grupe i matrične grupe su posebni slučajevi transformacionih grupa: grupa koje deluju na određenom prostoru X čuvajući njegovu inherentnu strukturu. U slučaju permutacionih grupa, X je skup; za matrične grupe, X je vektorski prostor. Koncept transformacione grupe je usko povezan sa konceptom simetrije grupe: transformacione grupe se često sastoje od svih transformacija koje čuvaju određenu strukturu.
Apstraktne grupe[uredi | uredi izvor]
Većina grupa koje su razmatrane u prvoj fazi razvoja teorije grupa bile su „konkretne“, realizovane kroz brojeve, permutacije ili matrice. Tek krajem devetnaestog veka ideja o apstraktnoj grupi kao skupu sa operacijama koje zadovoljavaju određeni sistem aksioma počela je da se primenjuje. Tipičan način specificiranja apstraktne grupe je kroz prezentaciju pomoću generatora i relacija,
Značajan izvor apstraktnih grupa dat je konstruisanjem faktorske grupe, ili količnika grupe, G/H, grupe G pomoću normalne podgrupe H. Klasa grupe polja algebarskih brojeva bile su među najranijim primerima faktorskih grupa, od veliko interesa za teoriju brojeva. Ako je grupa G permutaciona grupa na skupu X, faktor grupe G/H više ne deluje na X; ali ideja apstraktne grupe dozvoljava da se može zanemariti ovoj nesklad.
Grupe sa dodatnom strukturom[uredi | uredi izvor]
Važno proširenje koncepta grupe se dešava ako G poseduje dodatnu strukturu, posebno topološkog prostora, diferencibilne mnogostrukosti ili algebarskog varijeteta. Ako su grupne operacije m (množenje) i i (inverzija),
kompatibilne sa ovom strukturom, odnosno neprekidne, glatke ili pravilne (u smislu algebarske geometrije) mape, onda je G topološka grupa, Lijeva grupa ili algebarska grupa.[4]
Primene teorije grupa[uredi | uredi izvor]
U važnije primene teorije grupa spada i sledeće:
- Grupe se često koriste da uhvate unutrašnju simetriju drugih struktura. Unutrašnja simetrija strukture je obično povezana sa invarijantnim svojstvom; skup transformacija koje očuvavaju ovo invarijantno svojstvo, zajedno sa operacijom kompozicije transformacija čini grupu koju nazivamo simetričnom grupom . Vidi i automorfizam grupa.
- Teorija Galoa, koja je istorijsko izvorište koncepta grupe, koristi grupe da opiše simetrije jednačina koje zadovoljavaju nule polinoma. Rešive grupe su tako nazvane zbog njihove važne uloge u ovoj teoriji. Teorija Galoa je prvobitno korišćena da dokaže da polinomi petog i viših stepena ne mogu (u opštem slučaju) biti rešeni u zatvorenoj formi na način na koji polinomi nižeg stepena mogu.
- Abelove grupe, koje zahtevaju i svojstvo komutativnosti , leže u osnovi nekoliko drugih struktura koje se proučavaju u apstraktnoj algebri, kao što su prsteni, polja i moduli.
- U algebarskoj topologiji, grupe se koriste da opišu invarijante topoloških prostora. One se nazivaju invarijantama jer su definisane na takav način da se ne menjaju ako se prostor podvrgne nekoj deformaciji.
- Koncept Lijevih grupa (dobio ime po matematičaru Sofus Li) je važan u proučavanju diferencijalnih jednačina i mnogostrukosti; one kombinuju analizu i teoriju grupa i to ih čini odgovarajućim objektima za opisivanje simetrija analitičkih struktura. Analiza na ovim i drugim grupama se zove harmonička analiza.
- Razumevanje teorije grupa je takođe važno u fizici i hemiji. U fizici, grupe su važne jer opisuju simetrije za koje izgleda da ih poštuju zakoni fizike. Fizičari su vrlo zainteresovani za reprezentacije grupa, posebno Lijevih grupa, jer ove reprezentacije često ukazuju na moguće fizičke teorije.
- U hemiji, grupe se koriste da klasifikuju kristalne strukture, regularne poliedre i simetrije molekula. Teorija grupa pomaže u određivanju fizičkih svojstava (kao što su polarnost i hiralnost), spektroskopskih svojstava, i u konstruisanju molekularnih orbitala.
- Teorija grupa ima široku primenu u kriptografiji. Vrlo velike grupe prostog reda se konstruišu definisanjem eliptičkih krivih nad konačnim poljima.
