Lisica (lat. Vulpecula) je jedno od 88 savremenih sazvežđa. Definisao ju je u prostoru u kome nema sjajnih zvezda u sredini Letnjeg trougla poljski astronom Johanes Hevelije u 17. veku. Prvobitno ju je nazvao Vulpecula et Anser („Vučica sa guskom“, v. sliku levo), zatim su Vučica i Guska razdvojene u dva posebna sazvežđa Vulpecula i Anser, da bi na kraju bile ponovo spojene u jedno sazvežđe, pod imenom samo „Vučica“, a alfa Vučice je nazvana Anser.
Zvezde[uredi | uredi izvor]
U Vučici nema zvezda sjajnijih od četvrte magnitude. Najsjajnija je alfa Vučice (Anser), magnitude 4,44. U pitanju je optička binarna zvezda, sjajnija komponenta je crveni džin udaljen oko 300 svetlosnih godina od Sunca.
U Vučici je 1967. godine otkriven prvi pulsar — PSR B1919+21.[1]
Objekti dubokog neba[uredi | uredi izvor]
U Vučici se nalazi planetarna maglina M27, prva mlanetarna maglina koja je otkrivena. Nalazi se na oko 1360 svetlosnih godina od Zemlje, a u njenom središtu se nalazi najveći poznati beli patuljak.
Blizu granice Vučice sa sazvežđem Strela nalazi se Al Sufijev klaster, Bročijev klaster ili Kolinder 399 (Cr 399). U pitanju je grupa zvezda koju je kao klaster otkrio persijski astronom Al Sufi u 10. veku. Deset najsjajnijih zvezda formira asterizam „Čiviluk“ koji se može videti dvogledom, dok pri posmatranju golim okom Al Sufijev klaster izgleda kao svetla mrlja.
