Nantenin je alkaloid nađen u biljci Nandina domestica^[1] kao i u nekim Corydalis vrstama.^[2] On je antagonist α1 adrenergičkog receptroa^[3] i 5-HT_2A serotoninskog receptora,^[4] i blokira bihevioralne i fiziološke efekte MDMA kod životinja.^[5]
